Handmade clay plates & bowls
Handmade in our Cornwall studio, our plates and bowls start their journey 20 minutes away in St Agnes, where our clay chappie, Nathaniel, mines and processes the clay in his barn on St Agnes Beacon. Each piece is wheel-thrown, so no two are exactly alike. With a mix of traditional techniques and modern design, these pieces bring something special to your table.
Made for Every Meal
Every plate and bowl in our collection is unique, with subtle variations in shape, glaze, and tone that reflect the handmade process. These details give each piece a sense of individuality and warmth, making even a simple weekday meal feel special. Whether you're serving a quick lunch, a family dinner, or hosting friends for a weekend gathering, our ceramics add a quiet elegance to the table. They carry a gentle, grounded beauty that brings a little of Cornwall’s charm into your everyday moments.
Inspired by the textures and colours of the Cornish coast, each plate and bowl is shaped and glazed by hand. The organic forms and muted tones speak to a slower, more mindful way of living—where the objects we use every day are crafted with care and built to last. These handmade pottery pieces are more than just tableware—they’re part of your daily rituals, bringing comfort and authenticity to every meal.
Built to Last
Fired at temperatures exceeding 1100 degrees, our stoneware plates and bowls are exceptionally strong and made to stand the test of time. Their durability makes them perfect for everyday use—microwave safe, dishwasher friendly, and tough enough for busy kitchens. You can enjoy their beauty without needing to treat them delicately. They're designed to be both functional and beautiful, so you can use them daily without hesitation.
Each item is a testament to traditional ceramic craftsmanship. Made in small batches, our stoneware is formed and finished by hand, giving every piece its own quiet personality. These aren't mass-produced dishes—they're thoughtful, lasting pieces that hold the stories of the people who made them. From breakfast to dessert, our handmade bowls and plates are built for real life, and made to be cherished.
